Here at Santa’s Workshop, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers and visitors to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that Santa’s Workshop is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes – especially our top secret naughty and nice lists.  This Privacy Policy provides details on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

Cookies

Our websites use cookies to collect information.  This includes information about browsing and purchasing stages by people who access our websites.  This includes information about pages viewed, products purchased and the customer journey around our websites.

When someone visits www.santas-work-shop.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

 

Mailing Lists

As part of the registration process for our events or newsletters, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails .

 

Ticketing Data

When you purchase a ticket (or tickets) for our event, addons or  merchandise, through Santa’s Workshop, your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored by our event ticketing provider, Digitickets. If you consent to receive additional marketing from us, we will add you details to our Mailing List as detailed above. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.

After the completion of the event you are attending, your data will be Pseudonymised.

In this privacy policy references to "we", "us" and "our" are to Santa's Workshop. References to "our Website" or "the Website" are to santas-work-shop.digitickets.co.uk.

The information we collect via the Website may include:

6. Data recorded by the Website which allows us to recognise you and your preferred settings, this saves you from re-entering information on return visits to the site. We do not store any credit card details.

What we do with your information

1. To process your order, to provide after sales service (we may pass your details to another organisation to supply/deliver products or services you have purchased and/or to provide after-sales service);
2. In certain cases we may use your email address to send you information on our other products and services. In such a case you will be offered the option to opt in/out before completing your purchase.
