Can I buy tickets on the day or do I need to book?

On the day prices are fixed at £25 per child and £2.50 per adult.

This is a personalised experience so we advise that all advance bookings must be made online and in advance. Spaces are limited to ensure the best possible experience, previously the event has sold out so book now to avoid disappointment.

 

What is Santa’s Workshop?

Santa’s Workshop is a magical, theatrical experience where each child and adult gets the opportunity to enjoy getting ready for Christmas with Santa’s Elves. The experience starts with an inter-active theatre experience followed by a group visit to meet Santa in his drawing room, who has his Naughty and Nice Book with him – and will make it a unique and individual experience for each child in the room, before giving them an early Christmas gift and having their picture taken with him individually or with their family and friends* (whichever they prefer)!

Do I need to pay for parking?

No, there is plenty of parking and it is free. You may be parking on grass, so please wear appropriate footwear if it has been raining.

Is there a seperate Christmas experience for pre-school children this year?

There is not a seperate experience for pre-school Children as we are confident that Santa’s Workshop 2017 will be truly enjoyable for children of all ages to come along and join the fun!

How much does it cost?

Can I make a group booking?

Yes you can make a group booking. Please book via the website in the usual way. If you have any special requests please feel free to contact us at enquiries@santas-work-shop.co.uk

What do I need to bring to gain entry?

Please bring your e-tickets with you, either printed or by showing your phone.

Will my child visit Santa alone?

Santa will see a group of children together, this is where the Naughty and Nice magic takes place and the children will be amazed at what Santa knows! Santa will then greet each child individually to give them their gift and have their photo taken*.

Can I cancel my booking and receive a refund?

Bookings are non-refundable.

Can I bring my pet?

No pets are permitted at Santa’s workshop. Guide Dogs and Assistance dogs are allowed.

Can I smoke?

There is no smoking permitted anywhere within the Santa’s Workshop Experience.

How long will my experience last?

Each experience will last approx. sixty minutes,  please arrive 15 minutes early from the start of your ticket time to check in and fully enjoy the experience.

I have lost my tickets, what should I do?

Please contact us at enquiries@santas-work-shop.co.uk and we will arrange for replacements. Proof of identity maybe required.

One of my party uses a wheelchair and/or requires special assistance, what facilities do you offer?

Santa's Work Shop is suitable for wheelchair users. Please email enquiries@santas-work-shop.co.uk, and/or note any requests during your booking process, should you require special assistance and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Will Santa’s Workshop be the same experience as previous years?

No, here at Santa’s Workshop we work hard all year to make sure each year is as enjoyable and unique as the previous years. We are confident you will enjoy Santa’s Workshop 2017 so come along and join the Christmas fun!

Why is there a charge for adults at Santa’s Workshop this year?

We have enjoyed enhancing the experience this year in response to fantastic feedback received in previous years. As such 2017 sees a Christmas experience geared towards the whole family.

There is no limit to the number of adults that can visit Santa’s Workshop and enjoy the experience, however to ensure the visit to see Santa in his drawing room is truly magical there is a limit of 2 adults per child.

Can I take my own photos when we visit Santa?

nly official photos taken by Santa’s Workshop will be allowed during the visit with Santa .  These  photos can be purchased on the day. Photos cost £7 for one, £14 for two and £15 for three. Subject to availability snow frames and glitter globes will also be available.

You may take your own photo’s in other areas of the experience.

Is there a breakfast experience this year?

Not this year, the Elves need your help in getting the sleigh ready for Christmas and won’t have time for breakfast!

What happens if I am late?

Santa’s workshop is an experience, we therefore advise that you arrive 15 minutes early. If you are late we will do our best to accommodate you, but we can not guarantee this. You will not be entitled to a refund.

Why is there a booking fee?

The booking fee is to cover the administrative costs – Santa’s Workshop does not profit from this.

Where is Santa’s Workshop located?

Once again, Santa’s Workshop will be located at the stunning stately home of Grendon Hall, 67 Main Road, Grendon, Northamptonshire NN7 1JW. See map on our “how to find us” page.  Grendon Hall is set in beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, located less than 50 miles from Cambridge, Coventry and Leicester and less than 17 miles from Bedford, Milton Keynes and Kettering.

When is Santa’s Workshop open?

Santa’s Workshop is open from Friday the 1st of December until Sunday the 24th of December. Please check the booking page for availability.

Will Santa give my child a gift?

Yes, all children will receive an early Christmas gift from Santa as part of the christmas experience. This will be a small gift from Santa, it will not be the gift you mention in the information you provide at the point of booking.


Note that children under the age of 2 (with free tickets) do not receive a gift from Santa, if you would like your child to receive a gift please choose the full paying child ticket.

Why does Santa’s Workshop request personal information about my child?

Santa’s Workshop is a magical, theatrical event. We request this information to make your child’s experience wonderful and personalised when they see Santa.

Can I change my child’s personal booking information once I have booked?

Yes, we appreciate children change their minds! You are able to update your child’s personal information by logging in to your ticketing account. Information can be updated online until midday Friday 1st December by logging into your account at https://santas-work-shop.digitickets.co.uk/account/login. After the 1st December, updates can be made by emailing enquiries@santas-work-shop.co.uk.

Can I make a group booking?

Yes you can make a group booking. For bookings for 20 children or more, please contacts us at enquiries@santas-work-shop.co.uk.

Can I book an exclusive visit?

Yes, please email enquiries@santas-work-shop.co.uk with your requirements. Early booking is strongly recommended, as this is subject to availability and a minimum booking of 20 children is required.

Is there a café?

Yes the Candy Cane Café is open and will be serving a variety of hot drinks, cold drinks, cakes and a selection of panini’s during Santa’s Workshop. You can enjoy the Candy Cane Café both before and after your experience.

Will Santa be bringing his Reindeers this year to Santa’s Workshop?

Santa will be leaving his reindeer at home in the North Pole this year, they are catching up on some sleep as they will be working especially hard this Christmas with so many toys to deliver.

Will my child visit Santa alone?

Why are visits to Santa's drawing room limited to two adults per child?

There is no limit to the number of adults that can visit Santa’s Workshop and enjoy the experience, however to ensure the visit to see Santa in his drawing room is truly magical there is a limit of 2 adults per child.

Are babies free entry to Santa's Workshop?

Yes, as part of a family entry children under the age of 2 years old, are free of charge. Simply add a free ticket to your basket when booking. Please note that we do restrict the number of babies in each time session to ensure the visit to see Santa in his drawing room is truly magical, if your requested session time is not available please try another.  

Note that children under the age of 2 do not receive a gift from Santa, if you would like your child to receive a gift please choose the full paying child ticket.

Please also note that we reserve the right to request proof of age at check-in to the Santa's Workshop experience.

Will Santa and Chief Elf read out everything about my child?

A. Santa and Chief Elf love hearing all about the children and will enjoy discussing many of theses things, however we can not guarantee everything will be read out.
